Rob Sachs
Host, What Would Rob Do?

Rob Sachs is a director on NPR's new talk show, Tell Me More and hosts an alt.NPR podcast and authors the NPR blog, "What Would Rob Do?" (WWRD).
WWRD offers Rob's humorous take on life's sticky situations. Whether it's surviving a bad haircut or figuring out how not to make a fool of yourself at a karaoke bar, Rob provides insight into how you can take an unfortunate scenario and turn it into an opportunity for adventure, growth, or at the very least — laughter.
On Tell Me More, Rob is responsible for producing music interviews and the regular segments "Heard on the Street" and "In Your Ear". As a reporter Rob has filed pieces on bands such as Franz Ferdinand, Journey, and the Australian children's phenom: The Wiggles.
Rob has been directing Tell Me More since its launch in April of 2007 and has worked at NPR since 2000. Prior to Tell Me More Rob worked for a variety of NPR programs including Morning Edition, Day to Day, Talk of the Nation, and All Things Considered. Originally from Philadelphia, Rob is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife Anna live in Washington, D.C. and are proud parents of daughter Rachel.
