Music is sometimes credited with restorative powers — and it certainly served well for conductor Mario Sergio Miragliotta, who was paralyzed in a car accident in 2001. Inspired by a desire to play again, he struggled to recover, and just four years later, we'll hear him conduct Honegger's Pastorale d'ete at the Aspen Music Festival.
