Cruise vs. South Park: An Update

Take that, Tom! The servants of the dark lord of Xenu, as South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone call themselves in this press release, have won the latest battle in their war with superstar Tom Cruise.

Remember that episode that ridiculed Scientology? The one where Cruise refused to come out of a closet? Maybe you missed that one, since it only aired a few times and was pulled from its re-air date when Cruise's lawyers allegedly threatened Comedy Central. Well, that very episode has been nominated for an Emmy! Much to Cruise's dismay, I'm sure, the Television Academy believes the show deserves to be in the category of "Outstanding Animated Program." Judging from our readers' comments, the episode is provocative at least!
