Lieberson Remembered

Audio for this story from Performance Today is not available.

We mourn the death, at 52, of mezzo-soprano Lorraine Hunt Lieberson. From a concert performance last May, Hunt sings a love song her husband, Peter Lieberson, wrote for her: "If Your Eyes Were Not the Color of the moon," based on a poem by Pablo Neruda. Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
