Tchaikovsky is known for his symphonic works, but for quick cash he composed some charming pieces for solo piano. The monthly reader, Nouvelliste, commissioned musical illustrations from him for each issue of 1875. Here's Mikhail Pletnev playing "June," a Barcarolle from Tchaikovsky's "The Seasons."
