Goats Eat Fuel for Wildfires in San Diego Community
In Southern California, firefighters continue battling wildfires. And so do goats. Residents in one San Diego neighborhood have hired hundreds of goats to eat the tinder dry underbrush that fuels fires. The animals were welcomed with a block party. Residents say the arrangement is mutually beneficial. Residents get fire protection and the goats get to snack. Fire officials credit goats with helping to limit blazes in Arizona and Utah.
