Ravel

French composer Maurice Ravel was a huge fan of American jazz, and quite a few jazz players have been huge fans of Maurice Ravel. We'll take a moment to explore similarities, and then it's off to Switzerland for a concert performance of Ravel's Sonata for Violin and Piano, music full of jazz influences. Violinist Viktoria Mullova and pianist Katia Lebeque are in concert in Locarno, Switzerland.
