Audio for this story from Performance Today is not available.

Spanish violinist and composer Pablo de Sarasate was a brilliant virtuoso who got used to playing encores. Perhaps he composed "Romanza Andaluza," a piece that often gets played as an encore, to fulfill the demands of his own audiences. Here it's played by Nikolaj Znaider, accompanied by Daniel Gortler.
