Finding the Piano's Singing Voice

Pianist Garrick Ohlsson sits down at the keyboard to divulge his secrets on how to make the essentially percussive piano sing like a meadowlark. And, from a concert at the Rockport Chamber Music Festival in Massachusetts, Ohlsson puts his ideas into action as he plays the Piano Sonata No. 17, called the "Tempest" by Beethoven.
