Faure's Incidental Music

Audio will be available later today.

Some incidental music for a play by Maurice Maeterlinck has taken on a life of its own, outside of the theater. Faure wrote music for the play Pelleas and Melisande in London more than a century ago, and then created an orchestral suite from it. Carlos Kalmar conducts the Oregon Symphony in Portland.
