Astrologers Ponder the Pluto Question
STEVE INSKEEP, host:
As Atlantis prepares to soar, Pluto is sinking. Scientists changed the definition of a planet to exclude it yesterday. It's new designation as a dwarf planet is not stopping astrologers who blame Pluto for problems on earth.
Ms. SHELLEY ACKERMAN (Astrologer): Pluto is often the culprit when a relationship abruptly ends and you're left in the dust to wonder why.
RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Astrologer Shelley Ackerman says there is a Pluto-type person.
Ms. ACKERMAN: Charles Manson, John Gotti, Madame Curie.
MONTAGNE: The astrologer says she'll still include Pluto, so here's our horoscope for the ultimate Pluto-type Pluto.
INSKEEP: If people insult you or call you a dwarf, shake it off. You may be small and far from the sun, but that just brings you closer to the other stars.
