Maurice Ravel had a habit of rearranging his music from piano to orchestra and back. In that spirit, here's a medley of three different arrangements of Ravel's "Mother Goose Suite." Michael Stern leads the student orchestra at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara in the finale to the suite called "The Fairy Garden." From the Parrish Church in Magadino, Switzerland, Viviane Loriaut plays her own arrangement of "Laideronnette, Empress of the Pagodas." And, at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Paratore Brothers — Anthony and Joseph — play the opening two sections, "Pavane of the Sleeping Beauty" and "Hop-o-My Thumb."
