In Washington, Iran's Khatami Calls for Dialogue

Former Iranian President Mohammed Khatami's is visiting the United States, appearing at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

Khatami said the U.S. and Iran should try to resolve their long-standing differences through dialogue. He is the most prominent Iranian politician to visit the United States since 1979.
