President Bush held a joint press conference with Pakistani leader Gen. Pervez Musharraf on Friday, where they hoped to dispel a report that a senior Bush administration official threatened the Pakistani military immediately after the Sept. 11 attacks to comply with efforts to hunt down al Qaida suspects.
