The Norwegian play Peer Gynt is the story of a man's lifelong search for fulfillment. Composer Edvard Grieg wrote incidental music for Ibsen's play. We start this hour with the brooding "Aase's Death," from Peer Gynt, played by the Berlin Philharmonic.
