Dvorak's Piano Quintet

Audio for this story from Performance Today is not available.

The Czech countryside and Czech beer provided Antonin Dvorak with equal parts inspiration and lubrication. His Piano Quintet, Op. 81, is a good example of that sunny good humor. Chee Yun, Axel Strauss, Nokuthula Ngwenyama and Alisa Weilerstein are the string players. Shai Wosner is the pianist at this summer's Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival.
