Democrats Lead Republicans in Competitive House Districts

A new poll from the Pew Research Center shows that Democrats hold a wide lead over Republicans among registered voters in competitive congressional districts. hide caption

With Election Day less than two weeks away, a broad Democrat-leaning trend seen in recent national polls also appears to apply in congressional contests regarded as closely contested. That's the finding of a new Pew Center poll.

A central issue for the respondents is Iraq — but also of concern are the economy, terrorism, health care costs and immigration.

Robert Siegel talks with Andrew Kohut, director of the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press.
