Conductor Franz Welser-Most hails from the same region in Upper Austria as the famous composer Anton Bruckner. As a child, he soaked up Bruckner's music at home and in church. Welser-Möst discusses Bruckner with Performance Today host Fred Child, and pays tribute to his beloved composer, leading the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of the Scherzo from Bruckner's massive Symphony No. 7.
