NCAA May Face Inquiry over Fees, Tax Status

A Congressional inquiry may soon examine the NCAA's tax-exempt status. House Ways and Means Committee chairman Bill Thomas (R-CA) has written the college sports association a letter with hard questions about how the organization spends its revenue.

And in college football, Louisville pulled away from West Virginia late in their game Thursday to shore up its title hopes as an undefeated team in the Big East. The Cardinals will next play Rutgers — the only other undefeated team in the conference.
