Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has picked Rep. Silvestre Reyes (D-TX) to lead the House Intelligence Committee. In one of the only contested chairmanships for Democrats, Pelosi had sole discretion in the selection. Robert Siegel talks with Rep. Reyes.

There has been quite of bit of uncertainty about who will chair the House Intelligence Committee, which oversees the nation's spy agencies.

Rep. Jane Harman, who has been the ranking Democrat on the panel, was skipped by Pelosi, who also denied the post to Alcee Hastings of Florida, who was next in line.

Reyes has served on the Intelligence Committee for almost six years.
