While Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) is making waves in the ascendant Democratic party, President Bush is in Washington confronting the wave of support for changing U.S. policy toward Iraq.

Also this past week, the Republican Congress wrapped up business before handing the reins over to the Democrats.
