Indictments in the Haditha Case

Four Marines have been charged with murder, and four Marine officers have been charged with dereliction of duty, in connection with the murder of 24 Iraqi civilians in Haditha last year. In a November article forVanity Fair, reporter William Langewieshe examined the incident. He discusses what's become one of the most infamous episodes in the war in Iraq.
