President Ford is perhaps the most prominent figure in American political life to die in 2006. But he was just the lead figure in a parade of politicians, major and minor, who died in 2006. From former Texas Gov. Ann Richards (D) to Al Lewis, the former Green Party nominee to be Gov. of New York, it was a year that saw many interesting political figures die.
