Times Square Prepares for the Big New Year's Show

About 7,000 pounds of confetti will fall over New York's Times Square on Sunday to celebrate the New Year. The glittery blizzard will be accompanied by fireworks, music and the celebratory descent of a 1,000 pound crystal ball. It took over a 100 people to make the confetti. Organizers are doing a test-run Friday. They'll drop confetti from an 8th floor office in Manhattan to verify its "air worthiness."
