The new year often brings a new resolve to lose weight. Not all diets work, and not all dieters stick with the plan. But common-sense advice a bit of discipline can help those who want to lose weight succeed. Miriam Nelson, director of the John Hancock Center for Physical Activity and Nutrition at Tufts University, discusses weighty matters with Linda Wertheimer.
