Democratic Caucus Chair Rahm Emanuel
Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) is the new chair of the Democratic Caucus. As chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, a post he recently left, Emanuel was credited with helping to organize his party for the 2006 mid-term elections. He co-wrote The Plan: Big Ideas for America with Bruce Reed, president of the Democratic Leadership Council.
