Basketball Team Trots Out Real Big Man

The Maryland Nighthawks have introduced a player they say is the tallest in the history of pro basketball. Sun Ming Ming of China, 7 feet 9 inches tall, hopes to make it to the NBA, where he would loom over all, even his countryman Yao Ming (who is the NBA's tallest player at 7 feet 6 inches. Sun Ming Ming wears size 19 shoes and his sweatshirt is XXXXXX-large — which he said is still too small.

And step aside Yao Ming. Sun Ming Ming was introduced by the Maryland Nighthawks yesterday. At 7' 9", the team says he's the tallest player in the history of professional basketball. He hopes to make it to the NBA, where he would look down on Yao who's 7'6". Sun Ming Ming wears size 19 shoes and his sweatshirt is XXXXXX-tra large.
