Indy Beer Distributor Gives Employees a Super Holiday

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.
People may drink a lot of beer this Super Bowl weekend, but Indianapolis residents should not be surprised if the taps run dry on Monday. The Colts play the big game Sunday night and a local beer distributor got so many requests for time off on Monday that it gave up. The company made Monday a paid holiday for all workers, more than 600 of them. Each is being given a free six-pack of Blue Moon beer and sent home for a long weekend.
