As Editor of NPR's Talk of the Nation, Scott Cameron ensures that the show is well-written, balanced, and accurate. He also oversees the program's weekly Opinion Page and monthly Motley Fool segments. Scott brings more than a decade of talk radio experience to NPR, including many years in commercial broadcasting. He has worked as a writer, producer, reporter, editor, and even a music radio DJ. He has a soft spot for shiny new (and usually expensive) gadgets, and anything having to do with chocolate. Before coming to Talk of the Nation, Cameron produced talk shows for WGN Radio in Chicago, the flagship station for the Chicago Cubs. He hopes to live long enough to see the Cubs win a World Series.
