Cheney Makes Surprise Visit to Pakistan

Vice President Dick Cheney arrived in Kabul, Afghanistan Monday for talks with President Hamid Karzai. The visit followed a meeting in Islamabad with Pakistani leader Gen. Pervez Musharraf. Neither trip was announced in advance.
