The Finches' new CD is Human Like a House

March 8, 2007 - The songs of singer-songwriter Carolyn Pennypacker Riggs and guitarist Aaron Morgan are reminiscent of artists like Vashti Bunyan, The Marine Girls and Mirah. The San Francisco duo gracefully rides the line between folk and pop.

The Finches' self-released EP sold over 1,200 copies without any major distribution and they've performed with many notable underground artists (Lavender Diamond, Mt. Eerie, The Evens, Magnolia Electric Co.).

Aside from all of her musical duties, Riggs also creates all the artwork for The Finches' releases. Human Like a House is packaged in a deluxe chipboard digipack featuring twelve of Riggs' woodcut drawings.
