FDA Reviews Cough-Syrup Dosage for Children

Recent research suggests that, when given in high doses, cough syrups can be dangerous for children younger than 2 years old. The Food and Drug Administration is reviewing its regulations for the medicine. Dr. Sydney Spiesel, medical columnist for the online magazine Slate, talks with Madeleine Brand.
