Two weeks ago The Washington Post reported that veterans receiving treatment at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., face squalid living quarters and maddening red tape.

This weekend, both Republicans and Democrats are making sure to weigh in on an embarrassing government controversy.
