Privatizing the Military

Since 1991, the military has been turning jobs over to the private sector, but a new report from the Brookings Institution calls the wisdom of that practice into question. Lynn Neary talks with Peter W. Singer, an Olin Fellow at the Brookings Institution and author of Corporate Warriors: The Rise of the Private Military Industry. The book is due for publication by Cornell University Press, Spring 2003.
