Who is Lt. Gov. Dave Paterson?
New York governor Eliot Spitzer announced today that he will resign. His lieutenant governor, Dave Paterson, will take over on Monday. Paterson would be the first African American — and blind — governor of the state. Madeleine Brand talks to Sam Roberts of the New York Times, who gives us a political and personal history of David Paterson.
