High Court to Hear Challenge to D.C. Gun Ban

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court will hear arguments in District of Columbia v. Heller. The case pits arguments for the individual right to own and use guns against the most restrictive gun laws in the country.

Melissa Block talks with Michael Troncoso, San Francisco assistant district attorney and one of the drafters of a friend-of-the-court briefing that asks the Supreme Court to uphold the D.C. laws.

He says states and cities have to be able to impose reasonable restrictions on gun ownership.
