Tokyo Police Club Goes Acoustic for SXSW

March 15, 2008Tokyo Police Club's party-starting mod-punk is stripped of its heavy rhythms in an acoustic version of "Tesselate." David Monks sits solo on The Current's stage, at the corner of 7th and Red River in Austin, Tex. for the South by Southwest Music Festival. The band's first full-length album, Elephant Shell, comes out this April.
