There aren't too many regional DJs with national influence. Andy Langer is one of them. His show, The Next Big Thing, has played on Austin's KROX every Sunday for eight years.

He focuses on both local and national bands, and he's become an influential tastemaker, with a regular column in Esquire.

A stop on Langer's show has become a must for bands touring through Austin. And during the South by Southwest festival, he broadcasts live every morning from the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel and hosts parties all night.
