South African President Meets with Mugabe

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, who is attempting to hold on to power after a contested election, skipped a meeting of southern African leaders about the problem on Saturday, so South African President Thabo Mbeki brought the talks to him.

NPR's Ofeibea Quist-Arcton speaks with Scott Simon from Harare about the latest developments in the election standoff in Zimbabwe.
