Caucus Highlights Persecution of Christians in Iraq

Scores of Christians have been targeted and killed throughout Iraq, most recently, an Iraqi priest killed earlier this month in Baghdad. This week, a new bipartisan coalition in Congress said it intends to spotlight this issue.

The Caucus on Religious Minorities in the Middle East has about 20 members. Founding members Democratic Congresswoman Anna Eshoo of California and Republican Congressman Frank Wolf of Virginia explain why the caucus was needed.
