A recent New York Times article investigates the relationship between the Pentagon and a group of military analysts — former officers who talked to the media during the run-up to the war in Iraq. The article states that cooperative analysts were rewarded with coveted access to high-ranking Pentagon officials.

Ken Silverstein, Washington editor of Harper's Magazine, and Brian Duffy, managing editor of NPR News, join Neal Conan for a discussion of the press and the Pentagon at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.
