British Sea Power.
The jagged pop and reverb-drenched rock of British Sea Power has earned the English band comparisons to the likes of the Cure and Joy Division. But British Sea Power has a style of its own — playful and profound, and marked by unmistakable instrumental skill. Click the link above to hear the band perform a concert from WXPN and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.
British Sea Power just released its third album, the invitingly titled Do You Like Rock Music? Recorded in several countries, including the Czech Republic and Canada, the album has hit the Top 10 in the U.K., building on the success of its widely admired predecessors, Decline of British Sea Power and Open Season.
