Jimmy Carter's Chief of Staff Dies at 63

Hamilton Jordan, Jimmy Carter's chief of staff, died at his home in Atlanta on Tuesday. Jordan created the strategy that launched the then little-known peanut farmer onto the national political stage and eventually into the Oval Office in 1976.

Gerald Rafshoon, chief of communications in the Carter administration, and Jody Powell, who served as White House press Secretary for Carter, share memories of their colleague.
