South African President Thabo Mbeki leaves office next year. Co-host Renee Montagne talks to Mark Gevisser, writer and former journalist, about Mbeki's accomplishments and failures since coming to power in 1999. Gevisser authored the book, Thabo Mbeki: The Dream Deferred, which will be published in the United States next year.
