Latinos Hard-Hit by Mortgage Crisis
The wave of foreclosures spreading around the country is hitting Latino communities especially hard.
Many Hispanic homeowners could qualify only for subprime loans, and those mortgages were marketed to them aggressively.
Now as the forelcosures mount, some neighborhoods are deteriorating. Crime is up, businesses are struggling and the construction jobs that were so plentiful are vanishing
