As the crisis with Iran over the captured British sailors and marines escalates, the United States has begun major naval exercises in the Persian Gulf. According to the administration, the exercises were organized before the incident and are to contain Iranian powers. John Pike, director of the private national security Web site GlobalSecurity.org talks with Alex Chadwick.
