Hamoody Jouda was shot in the face by Sunni insurgents when he was 2.
Hamoody Jauda was 2 years old when he was shot in the face by insurgents in Iraq. An American group brought him to the U.S. for medical treatment.
Two years later, he's still undergoing treatments — and much about his old life is a distant memory. What happens next in his life will determine if he becomes an American or remains a citizen of Iraq.
