This fall, Jack Gerard, president and CEO of the American Chemistry Council, takes over as president of the American Petroleum Institute. His new role as the chief spokesperson for the oil and gas industry will, according to The Washington Post, make him "the most hated man in Washington."

Gerard talks about how he plans to take on the Capitol and the American public.
