'Marketplace' Report: No More Free Pens For Doctors
Are you making your grocery list on a pad of paper that says Nexium? Are you writing that list with a Viagra ball-point pen? Well, you may soon have to buy your own pen and paper. The drug industry is announcing a revised code on marketing today. The pens, pads, mugs and other gifts that drug makers have given to doctors and patients for years are expected to be banned. Mandeleine Brand speaks with Bob Moon about the economics of the change.
