One week since Iran seized 15 British navy personnel in the northern Persian Gulf, London and Tehran trade accusations and counter-accusations, and another statement from one of the captured Royal Marines was broadcast on Iranian TV.

Royal Marine Nathan Summerson apologized for entering Iranian waters "without permission." British Prime Minister Tony Blair promptly denounced the treatment of the prisoners, who were captured by Iranian forces in the northern Persian Gulf last Friday.

Iran says the 14 men and 1 woman entered Iranian territory illegally; Britain insists the Royal Navy personnel were in Iraqi waters.
